Motherwell midfielder Allan Campbell is on the radar of Hibs in a reported £200K deal, it has been reported.
The Scotland under-21 star has been a stand-out for Stephen Robinson's side so far this season but the Easter Road side look set to test The Steelmen's resolve.
With the 22-year-old out of contract at Fir Park this summer it is claimed by Record Sport Campbell is high on Jack Ross' wishlist.
Head of football Graeme Mathie is said to have identified the academy graduate as a top transfer target with days left in the window with the Hibees willing to offer the £200K compensation fee now.
However, the Premiership rivals are likely to face competition for Campbell's signature from both north and south of the border.
