Hibs have felt compelled to clarify Ben Kensell’s bizarre 'denial' over the Covid KOs.
Following an outbreak at the club, the SPFL were forced to postpone games against Ross County and Livingston, with just eight players available to Jack Ross.
That saw claims from a whistleblower emerge stating that Covid rules had been breached at the team hotel in the Highlands.
The story then sparked a fuming rant from the Easter Road chief executive as he fielded questions over the club's protocols.
He insisted he was "satisfied" the top team stars observed the relevant guidance ahead of the Scottish Premiership clash with County.
Kensell then took a pot shot, claiming the allegations "unsurprisingly comes from the blue side of Glasgow", leaving many Rangers fans and perhaps the Glasgow giants themselves, scratching their heads over the jibe.
Now the club have moved to clarify the comment, and steer blame away from their Ibrox rivals.
Having released part of the transcript from the Zoom press conference on the club website, a brief Hibs statement added: "For clarification in the press conference Ben Kensell was not referring to any individuals at Rangers Football Club in regard to the whistleblowing story."

The rage from the Leith chief was sparked when asked players observed relevant rules in Dingwall following the allegations.
Kensell bristled: “Firstly, I’d look at the source of the information and it unsurprisingly comes from the blue side of Glasgow, which is a point of speculation in itself.
“I’m confident in our processes and having investigated the claims, I trust our staff and players to carry out what’s required, to mitigate the spread of Covid.
“What I don’t want to do is focus on a comment from someone who is completely unrelated and is looking to create trouble. We’re talking about a much wider and larger issue that’s affecting the whole country here.
“We’ve got one individual that just wants to create headlines. I find it disappointing at the very best.”
