Hibs identify group involved in throwing missiles during Rangers match with CCTV passed to police

Hibs say that they have identified a group of four men who were involved in throwing missiles during Friday's match against Rangers.

A number of items appeared to have been thrown on to the pitch, including a glass bottle, during the Scottish Premiership clash at Easter Road.

Since then those at the club have been busy reviewing CCTV and, as a result, have been able to identify four men involved in the behaviour.

Footage has since been passed to Police Scotland , with the club adding that they "will leave no stone unturned" in their bid to find any further culprits.

Hibs recently invested in enhanced CCTV in a bid to deal with disorder in the stands, and a spokesperson said: "We will continue to review the footage, and we expect to identify any others involved.

"Fans must understand that throwing missiles is dangerous for the players and for fellow fans, and it blackens the good name of the Club.

"All supporters identified as taking part in any unacceptable behaviour will be dealt with by the Club and by the legal process.

"We invested in enhanced CCTV cameras to tackle precisely this kind of behaviour, and those who misbehave should know we will leave no stone unturned to identify them and bring them to book."
