Hibs holding 'test events' later this week so fans can check their virtual season ticket works

Hibs fans can check their virtual season ticket works during two "test events" later this week.

The Easter Road side will get their Scottish Premiership season up and running with a home game against Kilmarnock this weekend.

Thousands of fans will be tuning into the action live with matches of course being played behind closed doors for the time being.

And Hibs have announced that they'll be running "sign-in testing sessions" from 5pm to 8pm on Wednesday and Thursday so supporters can test the system out for themselves.

To receive one WhatsApp message a day with the top Hibs stories of the day, as well as breaking news alerts, text HIBS to 07899068921. Then add the number to your contacts as 'Edinburgh Live Sport'.

They say it's important fans try it out so they can fix any issues ahead of the big kick-off.

Season ticket holders will be required to watch matches using the 'Hibs Pass' service, and they'll be asked for their log-in username and password.
