Hibs handed new Ross County and Livingston date as SPFL make third attempt to play controversial Dingwall clash

Hibs will make their THIRD attempt to face Ross County after two controversial call offs.

The SPFL have set a date of Wednesday, November 24 for Jack Ross to take his side north.

Hibs were due to face the Staggies away last Saturday but the game was postponed on the day of the match after two players tested positive for Covid.

And the Easter Road club were furious when league chiefs decided to send them back to Dingwall just a few days later.

But that game was then scrapped - along with this weekend’s scheduled trip to Livingston - as the Covid situation within the camp got worse.

Now, the SPFL have pencilled in rearranged dates fo r both with the trip to Ross County on November 24 and the Livingston clash two weeks later on Wednesday, December 8.

It means the Edinburgh side will have gone almost a month without a game before their Premier Sports Cup semi final clash with Rangers at Hampden on November 21.
