Hibs fixture rearranged as Dundee United clash is moved due to Betfred Cup semi-final

The knock effect to Hibs’ fixture list due to them reaching the Betfred Cup semi-finals has been confirmed.

Jack Ross takes his side to Hampden to face St Johnstone for a spot in the final.

The Easter Road club’s final four encounter is the first of the two semi-finals to be played, and takes place on Saturday January (kick-off 5.30pm).

As a result, their scheduled Scottish Premiership game against Dundee United has now been rearranged.

The Hibees will now travel to Tannadice on Wednesday 10 February (kick-off 7.45pm).

It makes for a busy month for the Leith outfit, who face St Mirren previous midweek before taking on Aberdeen ahead of their meeting with United.

It’s then on to Ross County before finishing February at home to Motherwell on the 27th, although this will be moved if they overcome St Johnstone and reach the Betfred Cup final, which takes place on Sunday 28.

Hibs had to settle for a point against the Tangerines at the weekend after Luke Bolton’s last minute strike canceled out Kyle Magennis’ opener.

They will be hoping for a repeat of their early season result at Tannadice, where Chris Doidge’s goal gave them a narrow 1-0 victory.
