Hibs fans will love this incredible Kevin Nisbet gesture that shows he's all in

Kevin Nisbet has revealed he turned down a higher wage to sign for Hibs.

The striker penned a four-year deal with the Easter Road club on Friday for a £250k fee.

Nisbet was one of three players moving to Jack Ross' side within the space of 24 hours after the additions of Drey Wright and Alex Gogic.

And the new recruit says he agreed on reduced terms than he was offered in January when the Premiership outfit tried to sign him.

He feels it's only right to take a lower salary due to the wage defferals ongoing at the club.

He said: "I took a lower wage than I would have got in January.

"I think it’s only right me doing that with the other boys on deferred wages.

"It wouldn’t be right for me to come in and be on bigger wages.

"I was worried and thought ‘this can’t be happening’ but I’m grateful to Hibs for getting it over the line, and on a long-term deal so I can progress."
