Hibs fans set for Motherwell away day as they get 2000 tickets for Fir Park trip

Hibs fans will get their first away day in 16 months after it was announced they have been allocated 2000 tickets for the opening day of the season.

Hibs take on Motherwell at Fir Park and will have some supporters there with the South Stand being allocated to supporters of the Easter Road side.

Jack Ross' men travel to Motherwell for the opening day of the new campaign at 3pm on Saturday and will be hoping to start the season where they left off in the league last year.

The intent is to continue as best of the rest and even challenge for second after finishing third for the first time since 2005 last season.

Tickets are going on sale for the trip from 5pm tonight with first class post the only way to have tickets sent out to you.

As part of the statement, the club said: "As per social distancing all tickets have one seat between them. However, on the day for families they can gravitate to sit beside each other as long as there is still space between them and another party."

Hibs follow up the Premiership clash with Motherwell with the second leg of their Europa Conference League against FC Santa Coloma on Thursday.
