Hibs fans provide cash boost to club as Easter Road side plan sleep quality checks

Hibs fans have donated more than £10k to the club in a move which will allow the performance analysts improve their work.

Supporters from fans' forum Hibs.net revealed they had donated the cash over the weekend and the money will be spent on new software which will help monitor sleep quality of the players.

It will also be able to monitor recovery status of players and much more as the Easter Road side look to do everything they can to help players.

The brilliant gesture from the fans takes the total money donated by them to Hibs up to £120k over recent years.

Jack Ross side currently sit third in the Premiership able and this could help them push on in future seasons.

A statement said: "The admin team at hibs.net are very pleased to announce that we have made a donation of £10187.50 to the club this weekend.

"Part of the money will be used to finance new performance and wellbeing software which will be used throughout the club including by the 1st team. This allows the sports science and coaching team to monitor players sleep quantity and quality, stress markers, recovery status and so on.

"This brings the sites total contribution to the club to almost £120 000 over the years. As always everyone on the admin team would like to thank the users of the site for their continued support."
