Hibs fans name strongest XI after Nisbet, Wright and Gogic transfers

Hibs have named their strongest XI ahead of the new Premiership campaign.

The Edinburgh club kick off the season against Kilmarnock at Easter Road on Saturday.

Jack Ross has plenty of options available to him after signing Kevin Nisbet, Drey Wright and Alex Gogic this summer.

There's now competition for places throughout the side, especially in midfield and up front.

Will the trio of new recruits go straight into the line-up against Killie?

If that's the case, there will be a few regulars from last term who will miss out.

We asked Hibs supporters to decide their side's best XI when everybody is fit.

And the majority think Nisbet, Wright and Gogic should go straight into the team in a 4-4-2 formation.

Ofir Marciano has been selected in goals with a back four of Paul McGinn, Ryan Porteous, Paul Hanlon and Lewis Stephenson.

Gogic would partner Scott Allan in midfield which would provide a good balance, with Wright and Boyle on either flank.

Christian Doidge, who was in fine form last season, would partner Nisbet up top.

In this scenario, there would be no room for Melker Hallberg and Stevie Mallan.
