Hibs fans given TV option for Rangers clash as Boxing Day game given new channel

Hibs supporters will have another opportunity to watch their side's clash with Rangers on Boxing Day after Sky announced it would be shown on Sky One.

The Easter Road men travel to Glasgow for a huge game in the Premiership during a busy festive period.

It means the game will now be on three different Sky channels, offering more options for supporters to definitely be able to watch the match on Boxing Day.

Sky Sports subscribers will still be able to watch on Sky Sports Football and Sky Sports Main Event, but any supporters who only have the basic Sky TV package will also be able to catch the game.

The broadcaster have also decided to show the match on Sky One, and it will also include all the build-up to the match with the programme to begin at midday.

Hibs are the only team Rangers are yet to beat this season after dropping points at Easter Road earlier in the season.

The 2-2 draw in September was the last time Steven Gerrard's men didn't win a game in the league and they've gone on a run of 10 victories in the Premiership since.

That's helped them move 16 points clear at the top of the league, although Celtic do have two games in hand.

Jack Ross' side are a further point with 34 points from their 18 games so far this campaign.
