Hibs fans determined to 'stop the 10' after opening day win sends them top of Scottish Premiership

Hibs are top of the league and their fans are absolutely loving it.

A number of supporters say they are determined to "stop the 10" after opening day victory over Kilmarnock sent their side to the summit of the Scottish Premiership.

Goals from Martin Boyle were enough to ensure Jack Ross' side started off the new campaign with three points.

A stunning Chris Burke free-kick, which is surely going to be among the goals of the season, gave Killie hope, but the Hibees managed to hang on.

After learning that the win put their side top of the tree on goals scored, supporters wasted no time in milking the moment – and rightly so.

BigHibby tweeted: "We're gonna stop the ten."

Paul Sng commented: "Top of the league."

@_TheRealDooley_ tweeted: "First game out and 3 points! Outstanding! Get Boyler on an extension."

@howardbell98 said: "Jack Ross has us playing, Hibs are back."

@FraserSneddon was particularly impressed with one of the new recruits, tweeting: "Gogic was unreal."

@improvEdinburgh posted: "Good win - we can play better - but Killie difficult. Need more players like Gogic who are involved all the time."
