Hibs have escaped punishment from the SFA after Irvine Welsh's controversial comments about Alfredo Morelos.
Author Welsh sparked fury as he appeared on Hibs TV as a pundit for a Premiership clash against Rangers in January.
While analysing an altercation between Ryan Porteous and Morelos, he said the Colombian should be “macheted into small pieces".
The SFA launched an investigation into his remarks, but the Easter Road side will face no action after they apologised and removed all footage of the incident, reports STV.
Hibs have been warned over future broadcasts and the conduct of guests on their in-house TV platform, however.
Welsh made the remarks as he hit out at the Rangers striker for a challenge on Porteous.
He said: “Morelos should have been off. That was outrageous.
“He should have been shown the red for that, no question about that at all, had it been Porteous he would have been off.”
Asked if the referee should have taken action, he said: “Yeah, I mean, where is he? Morelos kind of should basically be macheted into small pieces and sent in various packets to different corners of the globe for a challenge like that.
“And kind of consumed by seagulls.”
