Hibs continue Rangers ribbing as club crank cup final fever by selling 'do we look happy' shirts

Hibs have continued poking fun at Rangers in the wake of their Premier Sports Cup victory by selling t-shirts bearing the phrase: "Do we look happy?"

Easter Road hero Ryan Porteous uttered those words moments after the Hibees dumped Gers 3-1 in Sunday's semi-final.

The now infamous line originally came from a Steven Gerrard press conference last month when the now-departed Rangers manager was asked about the Newcastle United job.

He branded such speculation "silly questions" but in the end the manager would walk out for Aston Villa weeks later.

And Porteous poked fun at the boss that earlier in the season criticised him for a tackle on Joe Aribo that got him sent off at Ibrox.

HIbs' official TikTok account posted a video of Porteous' interview juxtaposed with Gerrard's on Monday as the Edinburgh side basked in the glow of reaching the December 19 final against Celtic.

And now for £18 happy Hibees can get their hands on the t-shirt, featuring the phrase the club calls 'iconic'.

A Martin Boyle hat-trick did the damage at Hampden but Porteous' defensive performance was stellar on the whole, despite Scott Arfield notching the Glasgow side's only goal from his error.
