Hibs confirm Adam Jackson departure as defender completes Lincoln City transfer

Adam Jackson has left Hibs to join English League One side Lincoln City.

The 26-year-old central defender spent just one season at Easter Road having been signed by Paul Heckingbottom last summer.

He played 22 times for the club, scoring four goals in the process.

Hibs say Jackson was keen to return to England, and he has now completed a permanent move to Lincoln.

The Easter Road club said he had been sold for an undisclosed fee, but Hibs would "hold an interest in any future sale".

They added: "Adam featured more prominently towards the end of last season, performing well in the heart of defence.

"He’d expressed a desire to return to England and we were able to accommodate that request.

"We’d like to thank Adam for his efforts and wish him all the best for his new challenge."
