Hibs chief Leeann Dempster vows to ban mindless Hearts idiot filmed destroying seat at Easter Road

Hibs chief executive Leeann Dempster has vowed to ban a Hearts supporter filmed destroying a seat at Easter Road during Sunday's Edinburgh derby.

The Easter Road supremo condemned the supporter and insisted such behaviour will not be tolerated.

A tweet containing the video, filmed by a fellow Jambo, also alleges that the same individual ripped three seats out at full-time and "chucked them at his own fans".

Dempster, who has been very proactive in taking a stance against anti-social behaviour by supporters, posted a tweet responding to the incident.

It said: "You just cost your Club around £60 mate - this will be shared with our colleagues at @ JamTarts to see if we can identify you and have you banned from OUR stadium in the future. We are all sick of this type of behaviour. #callingyouanidiot"

Hearts supporters also failed to respect a minute's applause in memory of Celtic hero Billy McNeill before their game against Hibs.

Dempster and Hearts counterpart Ann Budge have been praised for their response to vandalism and thuggery by fans of their clubs.

The Hibs chief executive responded furiously after a Hibees fan invaded the pitch to confront Rangers captain James Tavernier earlier this year, and Budge closed a section of Tynecastle earlier this month in a bid to beat the yobs.
