Hibernian will face Alloa Athletic in the Betfred Cup last eight after the men in green and white were drawn to face the Championship side for a place at Hampden.
The Easter Road side progressed to the last eight with a 1-0 win over Dundee courtesy of Jamie Murphy's strike.
But Jack Ross's men now face a tough test against the Wasps, who dumped city rivals Hearts out of the competition on Saturday.
It means a reunion for the Easter Road boss after taking charge of the Clackmannanshire outfit between 2015 and 2016 before leaving to join St Mirren.
He has visited the Indodrill Stadium once in the away dugout as Hibs boss, for a Scottish Cup tie with Lowland League BSC Glasgow in February this year.
However, it is a venue the men in green and white have traditionally struggled at in recent years with two defeats recorded during their three seasons in the second tier.
Alan Trouten's extra time penalty saw the Wasps oust the Jambos from the competition following a goalless 90 minutes.
Hearts boss Robbie Neilson was left fuming at the award of the spot kick and was booked for his protests after the final whistle.
The Hibees are yet to taste defeat on the road in the competition, beating League One duo Cove Rangers and Forfar Athletic in the group stage.
The tie will be played in the midweek of December 15-17.
Elsewhere in the draw, Rangers face St Mirren in Paisley, while Dunfermline host St Johnstone.
