Hibernian swoop to sign talented young Dumbarton footballer

As the transfer window reaches it conclusion Hibernian landed one for the future, signing Reece Marsland-McAteer from Scottish Cup finalists Knightswood under-14s.

The talented central-defender from Dumbarton captained Knightswood to a treble last season, with his side suffering penalty shootout heartbreak in the Scottish Cup final.

However Reece did more than enough to attract the attention of the Edinburgh club, and is now focused on working hard to eventually win a full-time contract with Paul Heckingbottom’s side.
