A lorry driver crashed into a kerb after allegedly sipping whisky at the wheel.
The HGV's trailer became unhitched after the collision in Leigh, the traffic division of Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said.
A spokesman for the force claimed that the driver had been 'sipping on his Scotch whisky' on a journey from Newcastle.

The breath test at the side of the road led to a reading of 75 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath - more than double the drink drive limit.
In custody, a sample of 45 was recorded.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving in connection to the incident.
