Hey Duggee-themed stays coming to Alton Towers this month

Hey Duggee is an animated preschool series featuring a dog named Duggee who runs the ‘Squirrel Club’ - (Alton Towers)

Alton Towers Resort is set to host guests in the world’s first-ever Hey Duggee-themed hotel rooms this spring.

From 14 March, fans will be able to spend the night in the “Duggee Clubhouse”, in rooms themed around the hit CBeebies series.

The room, which sleeps up to two adults and three children, joins a line-up of themed rooms at the CBeebies Land Hotel, including Bluey and In the Night Garden.

A double bed and a colourful children’s area, complete with sensory games and bunk beds, aims to bring “the much-loved character to life for families”, said Alton Towers.

The theme park is already home to a Hey Duggee sensory play area in CBeebies Land, where children can meet Duggee the dog.

Howard Ebison, vice president of Alton Towers Resort, said: “What better way for fans to relax and continue the adventures after a fun-filled day at CBeebies Land than with a stay in our world-first Hey Duggee themed rooms.

“We have an exciting year ahead in 2026 at Alton Towers Resort for families and this themed addition to CBeebies Land Hotel is the latest example of our commitment to unforgettable memories and immersive experiences for families.”

Natasha Spence, events director of live entertainment at BBC Studios, added: “These world-first Hey Duggee themed hotel rooms bring the Duggee Clubhouse to life in a truly immersive way.

“It’s a wonderful extension of the show that allows fans and families to continue the fun, imagination and adventure beyond the screen and we’re delighted to be working with Alton Towers Resort again to create something so special.”

It’s not the only themed attraction to open at a UK theme park this spring.

A new £15 million Paw Patrol themed land is also set to open at Chessington World of Adventures.

The 1.4-acre immersive land will feature a lookout tower and four rides, each themed around a different member of the Paw Patrol pack.

Ride highlights include the Chase’s Mountain Mission rollercoaster, a spinning flight on Skye’s Helicopter Heroes, Zuma’s Hovercraft drifter ride and Marshall’s Firetruck Rescue through Adventure Bay.
