A driver was arrested and their vehicle seized in Heswall in the early hours of today by the Roads Policing Unit of Merseyside Police.
Officers tweeted a "full house" at 1.38am, adding: "No insurance, no licence, no MOT and to top it off the driver was twice the drink drive limit.
"Driver arrested and vehicle seized."
In England, Wales and Northern Ireland the drink drive guidelines state that the legal limits are 80 milligrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood (the blood limit), 35 micrograms per 100 millilitres of breath (the breath limit) or 107 milligrammes per 100 millilitres of urine (the urine limit).
Meanwhile, only a matter of minutes had elapsed when traffic officers spotted a car being driven by a revoked licence holder in Halewood, who then tested positive for cocaine. The driver was arrested and another vehicle seized.
