Hertha Berlin sporting director set to discuss Marko Grujic's Liverpool future with Jurgen Klopp

Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujic has enjoyed a successful loan spell at Hertha Berlin, and the Bundesliga outfit are keen on keeping the Serbian beyond this season.

Grujic has made 21 appearances for Pal Dardai's side and has scored five times - including against Augsburg at the weekend.

The Hertha coach heaped praise onto the former Red Star Belgrade man earlier in the campaign.

Liverpool defender Andy Robertson makes injury admission and reveals plans ahead of Champions League final

Dardai admitted: "I've been at Hertha for 22 years. This isn't meant as an insult to anyone else.

"But Marko is by far the best midfielder I've seen in my time at the club."

The role Liverpool have played in Antoine Griezmann's expected Barcelona move

And according to Bild via Sport Witness Hertha’s director of sport wants to discuss Grujic's future with the Reds' manager.

Michael Preetz said: "After the champion fight in England is over, I’ll now call Jurgen Klopp."
