The opening of a new Heron Foods store in Cotgrave will be celebrated with a scratchcard-style giveaway to the first 250 customers.
Shoppers will be able to win top prizes worth £50 plus other prizes including £5 vouchers, product vouchers, and a pound off £10 spend coupons.
The discount chain will open the new store in Candleby Lane on Thursday, June 3, at 8am.
The new store has created 20 new jobs in both full and part-time roles.
Mark Riley, store manager, who has worked at Heron Foods for more than five years, said: “We’re thrilled to be opening a new store in Cotgrave and look forward to welcoming customers through the doors.
“I’d personally like to thank colleagues for their efforts in getting the new store ready, as well as our new neighbours who have already shown support.
“As an essential retailer within the community, we’ll be bringing local people our huge everyday grocery range at the lowest possible prices.”
The shop will be open Monday to Saturday from 8am to 8pm, and Sunday 10am to 4pm.
In addition to ‘top quality, low prices’ on a huge food and drinks range, the store will stock a wide selection of alcohol and limited-time deals in the ‘don’t miss out’ section.
