A social worker stopped two people falling from the same bridge above the M53 just hours apart.
Jennifer Allinson from Wirral, was driving to work on Thursday when she noticed a young woman on a flyover above the motorway.
The 44-year-old said she quickly slammed her brakes on and left her car in the middle of the road as she rushed over to help the woman.

But Jennifer's heroic actions didn't stop there, when later that same day she spotted a young man in the same spot leaning over the barriers.
She has spoken out to raise awareness of the need for higher barriers on motorway bridges and more funding to support community mental health services.
Jennifer told the ECHO: "I was driving to work and I just spotted something out of the corner of my eye.
"[The woman] was already over the fence leaning outwards you know like ready to jump, so I slammed on and I shouted 'please don't jump I've got children.'
"She looked down because it switched the empathy around, because obviously they don't feel good enough for their own families.
"They don't feel good enough for anything if they're at that stage of their life, so I just said 'please don't jump I've got children, if you jump this will affect me and my children.'
"She stopped and she was quite vacant, so I got out of the car and I said 'my name's Jenny what's your name?'"
After receiving a response from the woman Jennifer went up onto the flyover and put her arms around her to stop her from falling.
"I'd already dialled 999 in my car and all I could hear in the background was 'emergency what's your service? Emergency what's your service?' but I just carried on speaking to her.
"Some lady came on a push bike so I passed her my phone and said 'can you give them all the details."
"I said 'I'm going to put my arms around you and will you put your arms back around me?'
"So I put my arms around her dead tight and let her put her arms around me and then I was talking to her about her family, about her life, trying to make her laugh and making jest with her so she felt safe in my company."
Jennifer said they remained that way for around 20 minutes until the emergency services, who had already blocked off the road below arrived.
With her arms still wrapped around the woman, Jennifer helped her to climb back to safety, before she was taken to hospital by paramedics.
Jennifer, who is social worker for the Wirral Community NHS Health and Care Foundation Trust, said she has experience working in crisis situations and currently works for the rapid community response team.
When she went into work that day, the mum-of-four said she couldn't concentrate and decided to drive home at around 2pm.
As she approached the same area on her way home Jennifer noticed a young man, in his 20s, standing on the flyover looking down.
She said: "I was over the other side of the road but he was in the exact same spot. I just saw him leaning and I thought 'oh no please no not two in one day, this can't be happening.'
"I slammed on, put my hazards on, jumped out of the car and ran over and went to him 'mate I've saved one little girl off this bridge this morning please don't jump'.
"He started crying straight away."
Jennifer managed to lead the man to safety before she drove him to Arrowe Park Hospital.
Over eight hundred people praised Jennifer for her actions after she shared what happened in a community group on Facebook, with many hailing her a "hero."
One woman wrote: "Thank god for people like you you're an inspiration."
Another said: "Jenny you are amazing saving two lives in one day, God bless you xx."
A third added: "Well done for helping you saved her life, just sad the help out there isn’t more available to people who think there is no way out."
