A hero Scots dog has been rewarded with gift box of treats after helping to save to stranded women in their car during Glasgow’s torrential rain earlier this month.
Puck, the ten-year-old English Springer Spaniel, helped owner Lori Gillies to push a car up a flooded Harland Street in Glasgow during the stormy conditions on August 8.
We previously told how Puck swam into the water next to 33-year-old Lori in a bid to get the two women to safety.
As Lori pushed, the clever pup helped by putting his two front paws on the back of the car and joining in.
The incredible moment was caught on camera by Davie Keel, who commented ‘what a dog’.
Now pet food brand Bella & Duke have rewarded the four legged hero with a gift box of dog food and treats for his hard work.
Lori said: "We were just doing a good deed helping this car and its owners get to drier land.
“Puck really is the best dog in the whole wide world. Big thank you to Bella & Duke for the gift, Puck is going to be spoilt for some time to come!"
