A hero bus driver has been praised for rescuing a critical worker battling the snow to get to work.
Debbie Forrest, from Yeadon, was unable to drive to work for her 12-hour shift at Lloyds Pharmacy due to the hazardous driving conditions - and so began a four-mile walk in the snow.
As she trudged through the heavy snow a kind bus driver pulled over and offered to take her to her destination in Horsforth.
The bus driver had to change his usual route because of the disruptions on the roads but got Debbie as close as he could to her place of work.

Debbie said: "He was so lovely and kind!"
The pharmacy worker's daughter took to social media to try and find the bus driver to thank him for helping her mum get to work safely.
Zoe Fenty posted into Leedsplace Facebook group: "If anyone knows the driver of this bus, thank you so much to whoever he was for getting my mum to work safely this morning."
Debbie's knight in shining armour was identified as Nathan Grice who is based at the Hunslet depot.
Nathan said: "I was the bus driver of the 27 this morning, I feel I was just doing my job getting people to work safely and sticking together as one.
"I could see she needed a bit of help and I was on route to where she needed to go, I was just doing my job."
Debbie plans to contact First Group tomorrow to ensure Nathan gets the recognition he deserves for going above and beyond to help the local community in the snowy weather.
