Hero hunt to find mystery Dublin angel after incredible gesture of goodwill as driver with baby falls ill

A hero hunt is underway to find a mystery Dublin woman who made an incredible gesture of goodwill after a driver fell ill at the wheel this week.

The anonymous angel, whose name is Olivia, helped out the sick person who "took a bad turn" while motoring on Con Colbert Road, just off the N4.

The driver was so overwhelmed by the small but powerful gesture by the "Lucan lady" in their time of need that they felt it was only right to go in search of the local hero to thank the woman properly.

The driver said: "I know this is a long shot but just wondering if anyone can help.

"I took a bad turn while driving my car just at the offices before the turn on Con Colbert Road, near the N4.

"I am looking for the lady who stopped to help me and called the ambulance.

The motorist continued: "She was so kind to me and looked after me and my baby until help arrived.

"Her name was Olivia from Lucan, she had blonde hair and I think she was driving a red Audi A4.

"She had just come from St. James's Hospital herself. If anyone knows her, could they get in touch please.

"This is without a doubt the kindest thing a stranger has done for me. Thank you."

Are you Olivia? Or do you know who it might be? Please get in touch.
