Hero firefighters praised as nobody hurt during South Dublin house blaze

Multiple fire engines rushed to the scene in South Dublin last night after a house went up in flames.

Luckily everyone was OK after three engines and a hydraulic platform were called to the blaze on Watson Road in Killiney.

Firefighters from Donnybrook and Dun Laoghaire rushed to the scene and the house is sadly said to have sustained substantial damage.

Hero firefighters were praised by residents with the Watson Killeney Residents Association thanking them for their "prompt and professional response".

They said: "Sadly there was a substantial house fire on Watson Road this evening. Thankfully everyone is ok. Sincere thank you to  #DublinFireBrigade  for their prompt and professional response."
