Hernandez returns, Bamford dropped - The team Leeds United fans want to see vs Luton Town

Leeds United aim to take another step towards promotion when they host Luton Town in the Championship this evening.

Goals from Patrick Bamford, Ezgjan Alioski and Jack Harrison sealed a comfortable 3-0 win for the Whites against Fulham at the weekend - a result which took them three points clear at the top of the table.

For head coach Marcelo Bielsa, it' will almost certainly all be about ensuring his side don't slip up against a side battling against relegation.

"The win was necessary for us, very necessary, very important," he said after the Fulham win.

"There were other things, our feelings that you mentioned that we have to consider and it was part of the match of today as well."

In terms of team news, Bielsa is not expected to have any fresh injury concerns.

Adam Forshaw and Jean-Kevin Augustin are likely to be the only players missing because of fitness issues, but Pablo Hernandez and Barry Douglas should be available after returning to squad at the weekend.

Helder Costa and Bamford were both taken off against the Cottagers, but Bielsa reported no problems for either after the match.

Supporters were asked who they'd like to start the game against the Hatters and those who responded have urged the Argentine tactician not to make wholesale changes.

Fans are keen for Illan Meslier to continue in goal.

In front of him is the popular quartet of Luke Ayling, Ben White, Liam Cooper and Stuart Dallas as Leeds look for a seventh clean sheet in eight Championship matches.

Midfield is where things get a little interesting.

As seen in the graphic above, fans want Pablo Hernandez to return to the starting line-up and take up a position in the hole behind the main striker.

Making way for the Spaniard in the one and only change is Bamford as supporters are keen for wonderkid Tyler Roberts to lead the line.

Leeds United XI: Meslier; Ayling, Cooper, White, Dallas; Klich, Phillips; Costa, Hernandez, Harrison; Roberts
