Hernandez, Cresswell, Nasri - latest West Ham injury & team news ahead of Spurs trip

Javier Hernandez has returned to training at Rush Green after an ear infection which caused him to miss the 2-2 draw against Leicester City last weekend.

The Mexican striker will be assessed over this week in training before a decision is made on whether he is fit to return to the matchday squad for the trip to Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday lunchtime.

The Hammers have seemingly come through their draw at the weekend with no fresh injury concerns and were also boosted by the return to action for midfielder Jack Wilshere, who had only played eight minutes of game time since last September. The midfielder made a five-minute cameo off the bench against the Foxes.

Aaron Cresswell and Samir Nasri both missed the draw with Brendan Rodgers' side thanks to knee and calf injuries respectively. Cresswell had been training but suffered a setback, while Nasri's status is currently unknown.

The starting XI changes Manuel Pellegrini might make when West Ham face Spurs

Manager Manuel Pellegrini didn't exactly sound positive when he was asked by football.london last week if we'd see Nasri again this season, simply responding "I hope we will see him again."

Manuel Lanzini was also missing from the game at London Stadium with an adductor problem and was expected to miss around three weeks of action after picking up his problem against Man Utd.

Here is the latest news from the training ground and also, some potential return dates for those players currently injured.
