Here tonight: I'm a Celebrity live blog!

Those jungle drums are already ceaselessly beating through the blogosphere in anticipation of tonight's return of I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! Live over by over coverage at this very spot from 9pm!

It has been an unusually newsy start to IACGMOOH! What with the celeb-from-a-previous-era, Malcolm McLaren, out before he was even in.

However, not even the bitter recriminations over "BottleGate" - did Mal bottle it or wot? - can temper our anticipation as the remaining British celebrities parachute into the north Queensland jungle to once again crush joy's grape against palate fine as they attempt to be crowned King or Queen of jungle.

I'm already puzzled as to what has happened to those entities from what I guess we call the I'm A Celebrity long list who don't appear to have made the final cut. Viz, Richard and Craig Fairbrass, the Right Said Fred duo and Apprentice villainess Katie Hopkins. Can anyone shed light?

I'll be keeping a particularly close eye on Janice Dickinson, whom I noted in the Sunday Mirror busily vowing her intent to make love to a wombat. Marsupials beware.

We are especially pleased to welcome again to Organ Grinder as guest blogger none other than reality TV expert and MediaGuardian.co.uk editor-in-chief Janine Gibson, whose Oxford dissertation was entitled Reality Television and the De(con)structed Environment.

JG will be stepping up to the plate from 9pm will ball by ball coverage of every witchetty grub, fluffy cockroach, stick insect, white fly and bush rat set against our brave band of plucky celebrities.

Live blogging. Oh the joy of it! As the lady herself said "I'll be watching it, so why the hell not?"
