If you’re watching the 2023 PGA Championship and scanning the leaderboard and broadcasts on ESPN or CBS to see how Tiger Woods is doing, you won’t find him.

He’s not playing this year.

If you’re here, you may be wondering why that is. He did play in the Masters but withdrew on Sunday. Since then, he underwent surgery on his ankle back in April, with a message that he “looks forward to beginning his rehabilitation.”
