I wasn’t aware of this game before seeing these patch notes, pointed out by PCGamesN, and they instantly triggered my “was this written with AI” radar. Thankfully, nothing was wrong. There were no mistakes, no hallucinated features, and no strange phrasing.

Instead, the first-person medieval life simulator and survival RPG Medieval Dynasty has received a surprisingly in-depth update. Medieval Dynasty drops you in as a villager trying to build a dynasty across multiple generations, either solo or co-op with friends.

It has the usual survival mix of crafting, building, hunting, and resource management, but now it seems to have expanded into lovemaking too. Let’s go over the full patch notes for what turns out to be a much more ambitious game than I expected.

If you’re into deep systems and, well, pregnancy, Medieval Dynasty’s latest update goes all in. It adds a full pregnancy mechanic to the game, with pregnant villagers getting dedicated models, animations, and dialogue that reflect their situation. They also stop working from their second trimester, which naturally affects production in your settlement.

Partners of pregnant villagers, or mothers looking after infants, get a productivity boost to help balance things out. From what I can tell, this should push you to think about families as a working unit rather than a collection of villagers doing their own thing.

There are also new bits of small talk and social interactions with pregnant NPCs, which I imagine should help make the village feel more alive and reactive to whatever is happening in your settlement. There’s a lot more packed into this update, too, from a new questline and some gameplay tuning to bug fixes and quality of life changes.

The Labor of Love update, which is what it’s actually called, and the Exquisite DLC are both now live across consoles and PC. The base game is sitting at 50 percent off, and the new DLC has its own launch discount. Both deals run until Friday, December 19, 2025, across Steam and any console storefronts where the sale is active. If you’re on Xbox, the game is also available on Xbox Game Pass.
