Here’s why there were pink smoke bombs on the field at 49ers – Rams

You may have seen some photos and videos from Monday’s NFL Week 4 Monday Night Football matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams at Levi’s Stadium and wondered what was up.

No, it wasn’t some excited Niners fans making a statement like they were in the crowd at a soccer game.

It turned out to be a protester who made it on to the field, and it appears to be the same ones associated with other protests we’ve seen in pro sports this past year a few times.
