
After weeks of isolation, Hunter residents will begin leaving their homes in search of a delicious pub meal and a cold beer.
From Friday, some Hunter venues will be ready to welcome back patrons.

"Please remember, as we are just embarking on Phase One of the government's re-opening conditions it is so important that we all do the right and thing," an Australian Hotels Association (AHA) representative said.
"This includes keeping in mind that bookings are essential; social distancing rules of 1.5 metres will apply; allocated/timed seatings are likely to apply; bars and gaming will not be open - drinks will be via table-service and only available with your meal; and all health and safety measures, as directed by your local pub, must be adhered."
According to the AHA the following pubs will be open for sit-down dining:
