Where to get super chic bikinis and swimsuits for bigger boobs

Anyone ‘blessed’ with a fuller bust will know the annual hunt to find a seriously chic, cleverly constructed bikini or swimsuit for the summer holidays can be a long and painful process.

Triangle bikinis and flimsy bandeaus are not going to cut it. Nor are cheap, thin fabrics and spaghetti strap ties. And shopping for bikinis as sets, by a single dress size? Simply not an option.

And yet, just because you’re a DD+ cup, why should you have to wear thick-strapped boulder holders in dated and uninspiring prints?

Why, when you’re a stylish dresser by day, would you want to get to the beach and look like you’ve put on a grotesque piece of body armour?

Luckily brands from the high street to high-end have, in recent years, clocked that girls with bigger boobs, don’t necessarily want to compromise on style.

Whether you’re seeking for minimal and luxe for the promenade in Cannes, or sexy and strappy for the beach in Ibiza, these brands have got you –and your boobs – covered.

Miss Mandalay

Miss Mandalay

Lorraine Morton launched Miss Mandalay in 2005, after years of struggling to find bikinis she liked in her size (30FF). Determined to make bra sized bikinis that didn’t look like a bra, she succeeded in creating an extensive (there are over 100 bikinis on the site) and super-cool range of wearable, supportive swimwear styles that still look as dainty and on-trend as their non-wired counterparts. It’s all mix and match, and shoppable by cup size.

Prices start from £26 for bikini bottoms and £45 for a bikini top.

H&M

(H&M)

OK, so we’re not exactly revealing an undiscovered brand here, but unlike their high street rivals, H&M actually make a whole load of bikinis that cater for bigger boobs. The sizing ranges from 32A to 38D, and the balconette styles in particular are impressively supportive.

The cup to band ratios tend to go up in fairly classic increments though, so you’re unlikely to find a 32D or a 38A. Well worth trying a few on though, you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Prices from £3.99- £34.99.

They rarely make over 200 of any style, so you’re unlikely to bump into someone on the beach wearing the same cossy.

Prices range from £12 for some bikini bottoms, to £42 for some swimsuits.
