Here’s where to find Fortnite’s hidden Week 9 loading screen banner.

Last week marked the first week in Fortnite’s fifth season where you couldn’t find a hidden Battle Star by solving all of the week’s challenges.

When you solved all the challenges you’d still receive a secret loading screen, but there was no hidden Battle Star to be found in it. Unlike Season 4, however, there was a secret tucked away in the Tomato Temple-themed loading screen: A special Banner.

I wasn’t sure if Epic would do this again in Week 9, but they have. Once again, and much harder to spot this time, there’s a Banner hidden in the loading screen pictured above. While we’ve all been focused on the CUBE and what this (and next week’s) loading screens hint about it turning evil, if you look close enough you’ll spot a banner icon on the cliff wall beneath the bridge in the background.

Here’s the hidden banner.

You may recognize this as the bridge located just to the southeast of Shifty Shafts at the top of quadrant E8.

Simply go to where the banner is in the loading screen image and interact with the banner to obtain it. Voila, presto! you are now one of the few Fortnite players to rock that banner. I won’t spoil what it looks like. Suffice to say, the CUBE has left its mark.

I love that Epic is continuing to give out special goodies to intrepid players willing to devote the time and energy to complete all these Battle Pass challenges. It takes a lot of work to finish all these off, and getting a special banner is almost better than leveling up your Battle Pass tier.
