Here's when you'll have to start paying your Sky Sports subscription again

Sky are set to un-pause customer's sports subscriptions as football returns to our screens.

Customers have been able to freeze their subscription with the TV giant unable to show any live action amid the coronavirus pandemic.

But with sports resuming in the near future, customers will have to start paying their subscription once again from June 19.

A Sky community manager wrote the following statement on the company's website: "We're in the process of un-pausing Sky Sports as we see more live sport return during June.

"Some of you will have noticed that we'll be restarting subscriptions from the 19th of June and we'll be making more information available shortly."

The English Premier League is poised to return on June 13 as clubs returned to training last week. The English Championship is also hoping to get back under way the following weekend.

The Bundesliga were one of the first leagues to start up again, while La Liga have plans in place to resume their campaign in early June.

But there will be no Scottish football until next season as all leagues north of the border, including the Premiership, were cut short.
