We have more reopening dates for popular Leeds city centre restaurants and shops as we continue to get back to some normality.
As we all know, many businesses closed abruptly when the coronavirus pandemic first struck. The government has now begun to ease lockdown measures and we’ve started to see shops deemed ‘non-essential’ to reopen.
On Monday, there were queues right across as these Leeds city centre businesses welcomed back customers.
However, there were a few significant omissions from the high street at the start of the week, as McDonald's kept their city centre branches shut and the flagship John Lewis store remained closed, even though Victoria Gate reopened.
We now know when they will reopen though, so get your diaries at the ready:

While the market is back open you food court and event space won’t return until Saturday, July 4.
When these businesses reopen there will, of course, be a host of social distancing measures in place. We’ll bring you more on these when we get the details.
