Here's when Celtic and Rangers fans will have to start paying their Sky Sports subscription again

Sky customers will have to start paying for their sports subscription once again as football arrives back on our TV screens.

Customers have been able to pause the service, with the broadcaster unable to show any live sport amid the covid-19 pandemic.

But with live action resuming next month, punters will have to start paying their subscription once again from June 19.

Sky said in the following statement on their website : "We're in the process of un-pausing Sky Sports as we see more live sport return during June.

"Some of you will have noticed that we'll be restarting subscriptions from the 19th of June and we'll be making more information available shortly."

The Premier League is set to return on June 13 as clubs returned to training last week, while the the English Championship is also poised to re-start their season the following weekend.

The Bundesliga was the first league to resume, while La Liga have plans in place to get their campaign back up and running in early June.

But there will be no Scottish football until next season as all leagues north of the border, including the Premiership, were cut short.
