Here’s what Zac Taylor had to say about Cordy Glenn’s ‘internal discipline matter’

Before Thursday’s practice, a report claimed the Cincinnati Bengals and left tackle Cordy Glenn are at an impasse over the handling of his concussion.

In short, Glenn has reportedly been fined $200,000 for conduct detrimental to the team and he asked coaches to cut him.

After the Thursday practice session, Taylor met with the media, as seen in the video above provided by the team. He described the situation as an “internal discipline matter” and wouldn’t say much else on the topic.

Taylor said he can’t confirm the reported fine and said “I’ve got nothing else to say” when asked if Glenn had demanded his release. He adamantly defended line coach Jim Turner.

Glenn, 30, has been out since self-reporting a preseason concussion. Taylor confirmed John Jerry will start at left tackle against Jacksonville this weekend.

With Glenn not even present Thursday despite being cleared to play the day prior, it is safe to suggest he won’t be back with the team.
