On May 1, MSI declined marginally following the release of its Q1 results. The communications equipment maker posted revenue of $2.53 billion in the period, surpassing Street forecasts. Moreover, its adjusted earnings for the quarter amounted to $2.88 per share, surpassing the consensus estimates by 5.9%. Looking ahead, the company expects full-year earnings in the range of $14.64 to $14.74 per share.
Analysts' consensus view on MSI is moderately optimistic, with an overall "Moderate Buy" rating. Out of 13 analysts covering the stock, opinions include eight "Strong Buys," one "Moderate Buy," and four "Holds.” Its mean price target of $503.56 suggests a 19.8% upside potential from current price levels.
