It’s official: Tim Tebow — excuse me, TIGHT END Tim Tebow — is a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars after he signed a contract with Urban Meyer’s team on Thursday morning.
“I know it will be a challenge,” Tebow said in a statement released by the Jags announcing the signing, “but it is a challenge I embrace.”
Despite the fact that signing a 33-year-old who has never played the position makes no sense (and remember that time he had one receiving target and it went badly?) and some NFL players aren’t happy about it, Tebow is going to give the position a go. Meyer said his conditioning is amazing, but does that make for a good TE?
