Here's what the weather will be like for Bloom 2019 in the Phoenix Park

One of Dublin's most popular festivals, Bloom 2019, is here and the excitement is palpable!

Held annually in the Phoenix Park, this year's five-day event is sure to be even bigger and better than ever.

Since it's outdoors and all about gardens, the weather is extremely important for Bloom and with it also taking place over the June Bank Holiday there's even more importance to it.

It looks like we're not going to get the blistering heat we'd love for the event, but it could be worse.

Here's what we can expect over the next few days:

Thursday:

Temperatures will reach a peak of 17C, and it's generally expected to be cloudy.

Friday:

A small jump in temperature will see it reach 19C at its best, and once again the clouds are expected to appear.

Saturday:

Bad news on the horizon for Saturday, with heavy rain expected and temperatures to drop to 14C.

Sunday:

A bit of an improvement with only light rain showers to hit the Phoenix Park on Sunday and temperatures will reach around 17C.

Monday:

Another cloudy day for the capital, and temperatures will drop back down again to 14C.
