Here's what Sheffield United fans think of signing Nottingham Forest's Jack Robinson

Sheffield United fans have been giving their verdict on the arrival of Jack Robinson from Nottingham Forest.

The defender has completed his move to Bramall Lane, ending his 18-month stay at the City Ground where he made 59 appearances.

Robinson has signed a two-year contract with the Blades, with Forest believed to have received a fee of £1m for his services.

The 26-year-old made 19 appearances for Forest this season but found himself pushed down the pecking order, behind Yuri Ribeiro and Chema at left-back.

After the transfer was confirmed, United fans took to social media to express their thoughts and emotions on their new signing.

Here is a selection of what they had to say.

Brian Duffy: “All Forest fans saying he’s average. Wilder will get him into England squad.”

A2JWILKO84: “Low risk signing and better back up for JOC than we previously had, fee likely to be low given his contract status, so how any one has an issue with this is baffling.”

Mark Howsham: “Well, here’s to you Mr Robinson.”

Dean Hemingray: “Got faith in Wilder but I hope we get some better signings.”

Ronny Akers: “If you've got a heart 1/2 as big as some of our players, you'll do for me, but you'll need a full giant heart to get a regular place in the team. No time wasters in our pub team.”

Christopher Thompson: “Sorry but pretty underwhelmed by this signing. Surely we need a proven player for this position. We need to keep up the momentum.”

Louis Walker: “Good signing. Brings competition.”

Pat Dalton: “Hope this signing's not cover for selling players.”
