Here's what Joe Willock had to say after deafening Newcastle unveiling

Joe Willock has thanked Newcastle United fans for their warm welcome after he was officially unveiled as a Magpies player yesterday afternoon.

The Toon's recent arrival was met with a raucous atmosphere ahead of kick-off yesterday as the Newcastle faithful welcomed their latest summer signing.

Willock was in the stands with his family as the Black and Whites unravelled against the Hammers and threw away a half-time lead.

There were plenty of positives for Steve Bruce's side but also a lot of of work still to do.

The Magpies £25million man will have been frustrated that he wasn't able to play a part at St. James' Park but looks set to feature in the Newcastle squad that takes on Aston Villa.

The former Gunners midfielder took to Twitter to thank fans for welcoming him to his "new home."

Willock tweeted: "Thank you from the bottom of my heart for welcoming me to my new home @NUFC fans."
