The Denver Broncos have agreed to trade a fourth-round pick for Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco but the move will not become official until the new league year begins in March.
After the deal becomes official, Denver will have an introductory press conference for Flacco and the team will likely have a No. 5 “FLACCO” jersey on hand for photo ops. Thanks to the NFL’s official Instagram page, we already have an idea of what Flacco will look like in orange and blue:
Flacco has faced the Broncos six times in the regular season, posting a 3-3 record in those contests. He also faced Denver in the 2012 playoffs. Flacco won that game before going on to win the Super Bowl.
Flacco is entering his 12th season in the NFL. He has thrown for 38,245 yards with 212 touchdowns and 136 interceptions in his career. The Ravens went 10-5 in the playoffs with Flacco as their QB.
