NSW Health has released a whole new batch of COVID-19 exposure sites after a Sydney man in his 60s tested positive for the disease on Wednesday. Anyone who visited these venues is being urged to isolate and get tested.
The man in question worked as a driver whose passengers included international flight crew. Late on Wednesday night, someone who lived with the man also tested positive for COVID-19.
The updated list now spans Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, as well as pockets of the North Shore and Inner City. These new sites in Sydney add to the rural venues in towns like Dubbo and Moree which were already on alert after a Melbourne couple went on a road trip to Queensland earlier this month before testing positive.
