The New England Patriots made waves on Wednesday when they seemed to have met with just about every top receiver prospect. The incoming rookie class was uncharacteristically willing to disclose that information this year. (Typically, the draft prospects aren’t willing to offer info about meetings with the Patriots.) And we’re seeing more of the same with the linebackers.
It seems fewer reporters asked the linebackers whether they’d met with the Patriots — but only Alabama linebacker Chrisptoper Allen admitted he had not met with the Patriots. There was a strong contingent of top linebackers who met with New England.
