Here's how Susan Boyle looks today as she books Nottingham on 2020 UK tour

Susan Boyle has announced a UK tour to celebrate 10 years since she found fame on Britain's Got Talent - and it includes a date at Nottingham's Royal Concert Hall.

The 58-year-old Scot will go back on the road next year for her Ten tour, visiting 15 cities.

It follows the release of a new album, Ten, in May, which will dominate the set-list alongside past hits, plus a few surprises.

"I am excited to be able to perform songs that you wouldn't necessarily expect from me," said the singer.

"I like to surprise. I left the world surprised 10 years ago and I want to surprise my fans again."

Since coming second on the ITV show in 2009 - Diversity won - Boyle has sold over 25m albums, had No. 1s in 40 countries, picked up two Grammy nominations and earned three Guinness World Records. Her audition video for the show became the most watched YouTube video in history.

She's also published her autobiography, had a musical made about her life, appeared in Zoolander 2 and been the subject of three television documentaries.

It's her first tour in four years and will begin in Scotland.

Tickets for the Nottingham date on Friday, March 6, go on sale at 10am on Friday, June 7 priced from £35 to £57.50.

They will be available from Ticketmaster and the venue.
